Task:

HRPR were asked to help bring back ‘Taste’ Down Under by supporting Citi Taste of Tennis Melbourne & Eight Sixty South PR (USA) on 16th January 2020 at Regent Ballroom on Collins St, Melbourne. 

Tasks included securing pre-event coverage in local event calendars to drive ticket sales.

Hosting Melbourne-based media, journalists, celebrities & influencers in an exclusive, food, wine & entertainment experience with professional tennis players.

Reconnect preexisting contacts between Citi Taste of Tennis and Australian media press outlets.

Driving traffic on social media (via chefs, players, celebrities, influencers and media) with appropriate handles and hashtags to grow word-of-mouth.

Assist in executing a high-profile “blue carpet” experience for players and VIP guests, managing all carpet press and photographers to maximize coverage. Secure post-event media & social media coverage that showcases Citi as a title sponsor and the uniqueness of the event returning to Australia with founders Penny and Judi at the helm.

Action:

HRPR assisted in the execution of the event, gaining local & national publicity, assisting with social media, curating the VIP guest list, media wall management, securing chefs and sponsors for the event as well as securing silent auction items for the Bush Fire Appeal.

One of Melbourne’s high end men’s salons, Sweeney Todd’s, launched their new headquarters at 243 Bay Street in Brighton on 15th November, 2016 and it was hosted by Tom Davidson.

Founder and Creative Director, Collin Allingham, who has over 30 years in the industry and has accumulated many accolades for taking part in a number of campaigns such as the ‘GQ Man of the Year’ awards, working alongside the honoured Stephen Foyle’s editorial team with GQ Editor in Chief, Nick Smith.

Not like any ordinary barber shop, Sweeney Todd’s new location contains an old-world vibe with luxurious finishes that will have any man feeling like he is stepping back in to time and taking a graceful walk through a gentlemen’s club.

Task:

Collin Allingham, owner and founder of Sweeney Todd’s engaged in HRPR to help relaunch the new Sweeney Todd’s flagship headquarters in Brighton by holding a VIP and media event, attracting premium clients. 

Action:

HRPR executed the launch event, from concept to completion such as VIP guest list, public relations, media wall management, securing sponsors, participating in shoots, scripting, run sheet and photography briefs.

Result:

The relaunch event was held successfully, with Tom Davidson as the host. There was a Whisky Appreciation Bar installed by Coca-Cola Amatil, music and entertainment by DJ Cherry Love, sponsored alcohol from Vodka-O by ASM Liquor, and gift bags were sponsored by American Crew.

Over 100 guests attended including Dean Ray, Dom Bagnato, Gamble Breaux (RHOM), Letitia Sindt (Miss Universe), Lina Grant (Big Brother), Sarah Maree Cameron (Nova), Susie McLean (RHOM) Timmy Knowles (The Voice) and Rohan McLaren (Australian Survivor). Media in attendance included: Channel Nine, The Attention Seekers, Toorak Times, Heard Magazine, This is Malice, Getty Images, and Nova 100.

Sweeney Todd’s main editorial coverage goal was to appear in GQ Style and Grooming sections, which was successfully delivered by HRPR.

The Event Management Group engaged HRPR’s services for the Susan Alberti Research Foundation Signature Ball in August 2014 and also the 30th Anniversary Ball featuring Tina Arena at Crown Melbourne on Saturday 22nd August, 2015.

Susan Alberti AC is one of Australia’s pre-eminent philanthropists, having donated millions of dollars to medical research and other charitable causes over many years. The Susan Alberti Medical Research Foundation (SAMRF) is chaired by Susan Alberti AC and supported by a Board of Directors who bring together a range of finance and business skills to support the work of the Foundation. The Foundation is assisted by an enthusiastic band of volunteers and supporters who are committed to furthering medical research in Australia.

SAMRF is dedicated to raising money for medical research, through a series of annual fundraising events and in 2015 an historic milestone was reached with the 30th Susan Alberti Medical Research Foundation (SAMRF) Signature Ball was hosted by Craig Willis and included the Australian Ballet, musical director Chong Lim and his orchestra and a breathtaking feature performance by Tina Arena.

Task:

HRPR was asked to execute a Public Relations campaign and raise awareness for SAMRF, Susan Alberti and the 30th Anniversary Signature Ball. HRPR also invited media to the Gala and managed the red carpet as well as phot shoots across a few titles. The event was an extravaganza produced by The Event Management Group.

Action:

HRPR managed the media guest list for the Gala, managed the red-carpet including photography management throughout the event and generating hype about the charity through a strong PR campaign.

Result:

HRPR worked with Susan Alberti AC to produce great stories for media, hosted a media table and managed the media wall & red carpet for social pages. During the campaign, HRPR gained editorial exposure in multiple print, online and TV platforms including: The Age, Sunday Herald Sun, Herald Sun, Leader Newspapers, Daily Mail, On The List Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula Magazine, Toorak Times, The Weekly Review, Australian Financial Review, Who Magazine, The Weekend Australian, Yours Magazine, 3AW, ABC 774, Joy 94.9 FM, Triple M, Light FM & Smooth FM.

Task:

The Soul Star Festival launch brought together a holistic and spiritual celebration packaged in a fun, entertaining and super cool experience held at Laurens Hall in North Melbourne on Thursday 24 November, 2016.

The Soul Star Festival founders secured three guest speakers including international YouTube sensation, emotional healing coach and comedian, JP Sears, internationally recognised meditation teacher and co-founder of the meditation app ‘1Giant Mind’, Jonni Pollard and Australia’s most well-known nutritionist, author, TV personality, yoga teacher and crystal lover, Lola Berry.

Soul Star served up holistic spirituality the way it was always meant to be, with humour, beauty and fun. The event consisted of famous mentors, healing sessions, healthy food trucks, holistic market stalls, holistic lifestyle products, healing sessions, psychic readings, massages, Kinesiology & Reflexology.

Action:

Co-founders Briony Goldsmith and Lauren Watson had engaged the services of HRPR to curate a VIP guest list, manage photography at the event as well as create a Public Relations campaign for the Soul Star Festival. HRPR worked on story lines for the guest speakers as well as profiling the co-founders and some of the popular vendors.

Result:

HRPR hosted the VIP guests as well as managed the photography on the night to ensure the right imagery was captured for social pages.

The successful publicity campaign included The Weekly Review throughout Victoria, Broadsheet, Weekend Notes, The Australia Times, Femail.com.au, Stellar Magazine, Your Life Naturally, Joy 94.9 FM and Australian Natural Health.

Task:

HRPR was asked to execute a Public Relations campaign and raise awareness to a sold out annual Fight Cancer Foundation’s Red Ball Melbourne charity gala at Crown Melbourne on Saturday 16th September, 2017. The key message was that funds raised through Fight Cancer Foundation’s Red Ball Melbourne helps people living with cancer and their families. The event was hosted by Shane Jacobson and was an extravaganza produced by Trumpet Events.

Action:

HRPR curated an A-List guest list for the event, managed the red carpet including photography management throughout the event and generating hype about the charity through a PR campaign.

Result:

Working with patrons Deborra-lee Furness and Hugh Jackman, HRPR hosted two tables of celebrities, media personalities, key journalists and VIP guests who were invited by HRPR. During the campaign, we gained editorial exposure in multiple print, online and TV platforms including: Ten Eyewitness News, Studio 10, Channel Nine’s Today Show, Sunday Herald Sun, Herald Sun, Fox FM, 3AW, Leader Newspapers, Daily Mail

HRPR was invited to work on the Red Ball Melbourne PR and event campaign in September 2019.

HRPR has been working with Hachem Management Group for over 10 years, assisting with celebrity guest lists, media wall and red carpet management as well as publicity campaigns for each event. Poker with the Stars 2016 event management was produced by Trumpet Events and was held at Melbourne Town Hall on Monday 12th December. 

The event was hosted by Sam Kekovitch and included a line-up of stellar celebrity players including Shane Warne, Pettifleur Berenger, Joe Hachem, Brendan Fevola, Danny Frawley, Billy Brownless, Wayne Carey, Anthony Koutoufidis, Sam Burgess, Andrew Johns, William Mason, Campbell Brown, Robert Diperdomenico and Trevor Marmalade. It was a night of entertainment whilst raising money for the Australian Childhood Foundation where all children are safe from the trauma of abuse, violence and neglect.

Task:

HRPR assisted the Hachem Management Group by curating a celebrity guest list, a publicity campaign as well as managing the photography and red carpet management at the event.

Action:

Execute short-lead media outreach program, along with inviting local media and celebrities and manage RSVPs, along with event and red carpet management.

Result:

HRPR hosted approximately 50 VIP guests, including media personalities and celebrities, along with key journalists who were in attendance from the Herald Sun, The Daily Mail, Nova FM, Channel 9 News and more.

During this short lead project, $300,000 dollars-worth of editorial was achieved such as Herald Sun Confidential, Sunday Herald Sun, Daily Mail, The Plus Ones, Poker Media.

HRPR was asked to execute a Public Relations campaign for Fashion Aid 2017 and raise awareness for the selected charity, the Leukaemia Foundation and their ‘Building of Hope’ at Crown Melbourne on Saturday 9th September, 2017. The event was a spectacular extravaganza hosted by Dave Hughes and produced by Trumpet Events. We celebrated Fashion Aid’s 10th Anniversary by signing an exclusive partnership with luxury boutique department store Harrolds.

Task:

HRPR compiled a Public Relations campaign to raise awareness for the 10th Annual Fashion + Aid Charity Gala Ball and achieve editorial placements for some of the participating designers and entertainers and especially the charity of choice, Leukaemia Foundation and their ‘Building of Hope’.

Action:

HRPR curated a guest list which included celebrities, media and influencers, managed the red carpet and media wall, photographers and media accreditation and executed a media campaign, which included securing photo opportunities with outlets such as the Herald Sun and Sunday Herald Sun. HRPR secured some sponsorships for the silent auction as well as managed all media interviews and Q&As with the designers involved in the Gala.

Result:

In total, 91 print, online and radio and TV editorial hits were attained over three months such as 3AW, Joy 94.9FM, Southern FM, Herald Sun, Sunday Herald Sun, Fashion Weekly, The Plus Ones, Couturing, The Adelaidian, Travel & Lifestyle & The Australian Times Magazine.

HRPR worked on the Fashion Aid Gala events and launches from 2015 – 2018. In 2017, HRPR was engaged to produce the Fashion Aid Launch event, we worked on the Melbourne Fashion Aid Gala Ball, Sydney Fashion Aid Gala Ball and Twilight Polo.

Task:

To launch Windsor’s newest establishment showcasing authentic Italian cuisine, Eat’aliano on Monday 23rd May, 2016.

Action:

HRPR was asked to produce and execute two events, a VIP and media launch event, along with a separate influencer dinner event to generate hype and activity around the venue. HRPR managed the VIP guest list, photography and public relations campaign.

Result:

HRPR hosted over 250 guests across the two events, from local celebrities to food and media personalities and celebrity chefs.

The successful influencer dinner included writers from A Chronicle of Gastronomy, Eat and Be Merry, Table to Paper, Where Magazine, The Australian Times Gourmet, The Plate Project, Daily Addict / Broadsheet, The Urban List, The Modern Connoisseur, The Ideas Library, JP & Melbs, Gastronomical Ramblings, Melbourne Girl, Forksake and I Eat Melbourne Since launching, Eat’aliano by Pino has experienced continued success and achieved further media exposure and a large increase in table bookings.

After going through a change of ownership, renovation and refurb, City of Ink relaunched under the new ownership and direction of Jake King, recently retired Richmond football player.

Heading his team of talented tattoo artists, Jake King proudly brings a unique and fresh approach in tattooing, tattoo removals, and cosmetic eyebrow feathering to 216 Clarendon Street, South Melbourne.

Task:

Jake King, owner of City of Ink engaged in HRPR to help launch the new tattoo parlour in South Melbourne by holding a celebrity & VIP event. HRR was asked to manage the photography during the event, curate a guest list and gain some local editorial under Jake King’s guidance.

Action:

HRPR executed the launch event, from managing the VIP guest list, public relations, photo management, scripting, run sheet and photography briefs.

Result:

The relaunch event was held successfully, with Billy Brownless as the host.

VIP guests enjoyed entertainment by performer Bonnie Anderson and violinist Sally Cooper, DJ Chloe and catering by Matthew Butcher at The City of Ink Launch.

All guests received a gift bag with a choice of product from the City of Ink clothing range.

Task:

HRPR were asked to help support Canon Australia and Ogilvy PR with the launch of their collaboration with Channel Nine’s Lisa Wilkinson, and her black and white photographic exhibition entitled ‘Women of Influence’ in Melbourne as well as awareness for Lisa Wilkinson’s charity partner, Barnados Australia – highlighting their important work and raise money to help vunerable children.

Action:

HRPR executed a one-night media and VIP event, to help raise awareness and generate publicity for the exhibition. Work included curating a guest list approved by both Canon Australia and Lisa Wilkinson, photography and videography management throughout the event as well as local and national publicity.

Result:

The one-night event was held at Smart Artz Gallery in South Melbourne on Friday 28th October 2016, where the exhibition was also going to be publicly displayed for one week prior to the Sydney exhibition and charity auction.

Boozy Brunch held their first New Year’s Eve and evening event titled ‘Under the Stars’ which was also the first ever public event to be held at Melbourne’s newest venue, Greenfields on Albert Park Lake on Saturday 31st December, 2016. 

With a BBQ canapé style menu put together by Tommy Collins / Atlantic Group, fusing together fashion, food, music, entertainment and art guests enjoyed the sunset over Albert Park Lake as they prepared to reign in the New Year alongside some of Melbourne’s hottest DJ’s, performers and a few special international acts. The Boozy Brunch sound system included sets from Mark John, Brad Sassman, Lana, Hamza H and Paul Muller, along with special performances by vocalists Josh Williams & Tony Kopa. Joining them direct from the USA, was house legend Duane Harden alongside new school heroes SaBaluna (Ibiza).

Task:

The team from Boozy Brunch engaged HRPR to work on a guest list for their New Year’s Eve party at Greenfields, work with Jim Lee photographer as well as secure publicity for the event.

Action:

HRPR executed a media campaign, along with managing the guest list for two events inviting local media and celebrities and managing the RSVPs, along HRPR worked with Herald Sun on a double page spread regarding New Year’s Eve celebrations in Melbourne. HRPR worked on a guest list of reality tv celebrities and other VIP’s and worked on the photography during the event.

Result:

HRPR produced a fun guest list which produced beautiful images of the successful event which were showcased in the Herald Sun, Daily Mail and New Idea 16th January 2017 edition.

Greenfields is one of Melbourne’s only truly indoor/outdoor spaces with sweeping views of Albert Park Lake, the greens of the golf course and the world famous F1 Grand Prix track.

Task:

HRPR was asked by the founder of Australian Women’s Network to curate a celebrity and VIP guest list, generate a PR campaign, secure key-note speakers, a panel of speakers, sponsors and Auction items, manage the media walls for both the Australian Women’s Network and the Blue Frost Gala Ball as well as raising awareness for both.  

Action:

HRPR executed a media campaign, along with managing the guest list for two events inviting local media and celebrities and managing the RSVPs, along with event and red carpet management, securing the hosts for the event and the charity of choice; Safe Futures, assisting with Auction prizes, securing the Auctioneer Marshall Rushford,  booking the entertainment for the Blue Frost Gala Ball, sponsors and assisted with a panel of speakers for the Business Summit.

Result:

As well as hosting over 100 VIP guests at the 500+ attendee event, HRPR gained over 370 editorial placements over a 3-month period. HRPR also raised much needed funds for Safe Futures Foundation.

HRPR also hosted the AWN International Women’s Day Breakfast at Mon Bijou for around 100 women which was also sponsored by Andrea Moss and Liberty Belle. Each guest received a beach bag including facial vouchers and products. Justine Kuran Designs donated one of her works with money raised going to the charity of choice, Safe Futures.
