After going through a change of ownership, renovation and refurb, City of Ink relaunched under the new ownership and direction of Jake King, recently retired Richmond football player.
Heading his team of talented tattoo artists, Jake King proudly brings a unique and fresh approach in tattooing, tattoo removals, and cosmetic eyebrow feathering to 216 Clarendon Street, South Melbourne.
Jake King, owner of City of Ink engaged in HRPR to help launch the new tattoo parlour in South Melbourne by holding a celebrity & VIP event. HRR was asked to manage the photography during the event, curate a guest list and gain some local editorial under Jake King’s guidance.

The relaunch event was held successfully, with Billy Brownless as the host.
VIP guests enjoyed entertainment by performer Bonnie Anderson and violinist Sally Cooper, DJ Chloe and catering by Matthew Butcher at The City of Ink Launch.
All guests received a gift bag with a choice of product from the City of Ink clothing range.
